After having an ng tube down my throat for two days is it normal to have a sore throat and difficulswallowing ?
It's been almost two weeks and I feel there is a knot in my throat
Why did you need to have an NG tube? Did you have an operation? It's only a small tube and shouldn't cause any long term complications as it merely sits at the back of you nose and throat. Some people have them in for much much longer and don't suffer problems. It's likely you may be remembering the sensation of the tube rather than actually feeling anything. Does food actually stick in your throat or is it just the sensation of this?
This should fade given time. So long as food isn't getting stuck I would try to forget about it, otherwise go and see a GP, especially if you are over 55.
