How to remove stuck seat post?
Okay so my seat post has been stuck for about 2 years and it's really in there like there is about 2 inches showing. My frame is aluminium and my post is probably steel.
Could I turn my bike upside down and flood the inside with oil without having any negative effects and just buy a cheap seat and kick the sh*t out of it until it moves?
Try PB Blaster... my experience is far better than WD-40. Let it soak overnight after thorough saturation then start twisting the post using the seat for leverage. Also, it sometimes helps to push it down while twisting, the idea is to get the bond broken and it doesn't really matter which way you move it to get that done. Once you get to turn it can be worked out by pulling and twisting. Be sure to coat it with anti-seize when you reinstall.
