Sponsor a Family
There are many meaningful ways to show your support for children
and families through the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association
of B.C.
One important way is by providing a helping hand for children
and families to participate in the August 16 Hope River Classic
- people who are eager to be involved, show their support
and enjoy a wonderful family day, but may not be in a position
to financially do so.
The SBHABC has set up a "sponsor a family fund"
for this purpose. For a discounted rate of $60, you can sponsor
the entrance fees for a deserving family of four.
The first such event of its kind in B.C. for children, youth,
families and friends affected by spina bifida, this 5 km event
will provide a very special day of fun and friendship. Through
this unique fund, you can help us ensure no one will miss
out on this day of hope, simply because of financial reasons.
To help, make a cheque for $60 out to the SBHABC, write "HRC-Sponsor
a Family" in the memo margin, and send it to the address
below. For the family you help on August 16, the day of encouragement
and hope will be priceless!
